Mercy Junction is a newly formed Christian band comprising of Colin Elliott, Leigh Brown and Tim Boyle. 

Colin has been involved in Christian music since he was fourteen years of age and is well known as both a solo artist and a member of the band, Live Issue.

In 2025, Colin teamed up with Leigh Brown on lead guitar and Tim Boyle on bass, in order to provide additional instrumentation when he was invited to sing at venues in a solo capacity and to enhance his increasing repertoire of original songs. Appearing as ‘The Colin Elliott Band’ the trio received many opportunities to sing throughout Northern Ireland over the following months. 

At the beginning of 2026, Colin felt that the group should have its own name, as Leigh and Tim are both very accomplished musicians in their own right.  The name ‘Mercy Junction’ was chosen as it conveys both God’s mercy to us and the decision we need to make as to whether we accept His free gift of salvation. 

The group has a relaxed, contemporary country / Gospel style and sings a mixture of Gospel standards, along with original compositions that Colin has written. Each song has a story and during a concert, the group takes you on both a musical journey, as well as a journey of their own Christian faith.
